Why do I blog?

Why do I blog?

Unless something seriously important comes up, I spend a little time each day blogging (“The blogosphere is hot”). So after being asked why I blog, by Dawud, I am prompted to write this post.

1/ Firstly, I enjoy sharing what I’m passionate about – all things creative (adgoodness is a nice place to stop by for a drink of creativity).

2/ It’s an important way of building my brand and interacting with my target audience (Small Business Branding is a nice resource that I’ve learnt a thing or two from).

3/ I’ve been able to strike up conversations with so many like-minded people that I otherwise wouldn’t have (MyBlogLog community has helped a fair bit in this respect – group hug).

4/ I learn at the very least one new thing every day (today for instance I learnt that Jesus Votes for Sausage – who’d have thought?).

5/ Lastly, there are more reasons but I’m sticking to five, Scotland is extremely cold at this time of year so Portobello Beach isn’t great for a dip.

Okay, here’s where I mention a few blogs that give me something to ponder. Pretty much all of the blogs I subscribe to get me thinking, and apologies if yours isn’t one of the randomly selected. Do drop a comment in the box and if this is my most recent article then you’ll get a linkback in my next post by way of a thank you.

One other thing, I was recently presented with a Thinking Blogger Award by Ilker, and couldn’t finish this post without saying thank you.
